Denneville Plage is a small village with a natural beach. The local oyster producer is almost in the immediate vicinity. Here you can buy fresh oysters on Sundays. In the summer months of July and August, there is a bakery, a butcher and a small supermarket within walking distance. Mondays are market days. Not far away is a camping site with its own tennis court - you can rent this court. In the village there is also the restaurant Le Pin with a very nice outdoor restaurant. In the neighbouring village of Portbail there are more restaurants, bakers, butchers and smaller shops. Art exhibitions are held all year round in the 13th century church.
The best way to get there is by car. This is also recommended for exploring the surrounding area. You can also fly to Paris and take the Normandy train to Carentan or Cherbourg. From there it is best to continue by taxi to Denneville-Plage.
